Federal Election Surveys
Ahead of each Australian Federal Election and in consultation with our members and the broader HIV sector, Health Equity Matters develops election asks. These asks centre on the HIV response in Australia and in Asia and the Pacific, as well as LGBTIQA+ health.
We provide the major political parties with these asks in the form of a survey. Each of the parties – the Liberal National Coalition, the Australian Labor Party and the Australian Greens – formally respond to the survey. You can read their responses below.
